Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using SQL Audit Platform, you accept these terms of service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

SQL Audit Platform is a configuration audit service for SQL Server instances. The service allows you to:

  • Collect configuration metadata
  • Analyze security best practices
  • Generate audit reports
  • Track configuration changes

3. User Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities performed under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

  • Use the service only for instances you are authorized to audit
  • Not attempt to bypass security measures
  • Not use the service for illegal purposes
  • Respect the limits of your license

5. Intellectual Property

SQL Audit Platform and its content are protected by intellectual property laws. You do not acquire any ownership rights to the service.

6. Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided with the care and skill reasonably expected of a professional. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

  • Audit findings and recommendations are proposals for improvement, not instructions to be applied as they stand. Implementing them — including running any T-SQL script provided — is your responsibility: you must validate them in a test environment and hold a restorable backup before applying anything in production.
  • Our liability is limited to direct damages and capped at the amounts you have paid for the service over the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
  • This cap does not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, personal injury, infringement of intellectual property rights, or obligations arising under Article 82 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

7. Changes to Terms

We may amend these terms. Any substantial change will be notified to you at least two months before it takes effect, by email or in your account. During that notice period you may terminate at no cost or penalty; if you do not, continued use constitutes acceptance. Changes that are favourable to you, or required by law, may take effect without notice.
